Days 6 to 9

Workshop participants will develop group projects where they will design, parameterise and code a functioning mathematical model, which they will use to answer a public health question related to a real-life pandemic response. Across three days, they will receive expert mentoring from experienced disease modellers but, ultimately, the teams will be responsible for the development of their models and production of results. We will encourage teams to use real-world data to inform their models, where possible (i.e. publicly available data without special use restrictions).
