Arguments

dat: Combined data set
regions: Vector of regions to plot
rt_type: One of the valid Rt types (e.g., eff_Rt_all)
forecast_until: Optional date to forecast till
variant: Variant type (or NULL)
add_betas: Logical, indicating if betas should be added to the plot
multistrain: Logical, indicating if this is a multistrain fit
